  • PCOS & Wellness Talk: Understanding Hair Loss & Nourishing Healthy Hair

This session explores the complex relationship between hair loss, hormonal health, and overall wellbeing. Participants learned about the various causes of hair loss — including PCOS, Hashimoto’s, and other metabolic or autoimmune conditions — and how to identify when to seek support. The discussion covered the different types and symptoms of PCOS, the role of insulin resistance and metabolic health, and how chronic stress and lifestyle factors influence hormonal balance and gene expression.

The session also emphasized a holistic approach to healing, introducing principles of Ayurveda and bio-individuality to help women understand their unique bodies. Attendees gained practical tools and habits to improve metabolic health, regulate stress, and cultivate healthy daily routines. This session empowers women to take control of their health from the inside out: combining science, self-awareness, and holistic practices to support long-term healing and hair restoration.

  • What if the way you think and feel could shape your health and your future?

This session explores the science of neuroplasticity, stress, and emotional resilience — revealing how your brain and body are deeply connected in the healing process. Inika Mehra shares how the thoughts we think and the emotions we hold can influence not only our mental well-being and success, but also hormonal balance, metabolism, and long-term health outcomes.

Through the lens of PCOS awareness and women’s health advocacy, Inika empowers attendees to understand how chronic stress and unresolved emotions can impact the endocrine system — and how rewiring the mind can help restore physical balance. You’ll walk away with practical, science-backed tools to shift negative thought patterns, manage stress, and tap into your full potential — in your health, your leadership, and your life.

  • In this session, Inika spoke about the importance of holistic care for long-term health and chronic conditions such as PCOS, emphasizing how emotional well-being plays a key role in physical healing. She shared practical mind-body tools to help release stress, rewire the mind, and cultivate resilience. The talk explored how unresolved emotions can influence not only physical health but also mental well-being, professional growth, and relationships — inspiring attendees to approach stress as an opportunity for healing, self-awareness, and transformation.

  • Inika Mehra, Miss San Francisco and Founder of PCOS Alliance, took the stage at the Beauty Tech Conference to spotlight PCOS and hirsutism — challenging beauty standards and championing inclusivity for women with hormonal and skin-related conditions.

  • Inika delivered the opening remarks and a keynote reflection on her personal journey with PCOS, the mission behind PCOS Alliance, and her health advocacy goals as Miss San Francisco 2025. The event spotlighted women-owned brands and served as a platform to elevate conversations around women’s health, identity, and leadership.

Through cultural storytelling, Inika uses dance to drive impact. At the Deepawali Charity Gala, her performance helped raise $1,500 to support the building of a 6th and 7th school in Nepal with Building Education. This reflects her commitment to advancing educational equity beyond women’s health.

PROJECTS

Redefining Health. Reclaiming Culture. Empowering the next generation of female leaders.

VIEW PROJECT

Inika’s leadership journey began when she was just fifteen — though she never imagined how far it would take her.

Growing up with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), chronic fatigue, and the weight of navigating her South Asian identity in spaces where she often felt unseen, she faced health challenges that once silenced her confidence and dreams. But through that pain, she found purpose: founding Skintegrity, a sustainable skincare brand that raised over $4,000 to fund hygiene education and health projects across India, including distributing period products to girls, hosting educational talks, and building toilets for villages.

Today, as the Founder and CEO of PCOS Alliance and the reigning Miss San Francisco 2025, Inika leads a global movement advancing women’s health equity, integrative education, and holistic healing — empowering girls to reclaim their health, voice, and leadership.

Founded the first integrative wellness organization within the UC system, Aurum, bridging the gap and making holistic health education and experiential learning opportunities available for all students.

Established the UC system’s first holistic wellness internship site at the Sanctuary Wellness Center, equipping students with skills in preventive medicine, wellness routines, mindfulness, mental health support, and nutrition.

Authored eBook and designed transformation programs still used by 100+ patients at the Sanctuary.

Moderated 7+ hour free community health clinics, providing blood pressure screenings and supporting public access to preventative care.
