Redefining Health. Reclaiming Culture. Empowering the next generation of female leaders.

Inika Mehra's leadership journey began when she was just fifteen—though she never imagined how far it would take her. Growing up with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), chronic fatigue, and the weight of navigating her South Asian identity in spaces where she often felt unseen, she faced health challenges that once silenced her confidence and dreams. But through that pain, she found purpose: founding Skintegrity, a sustainable skincare brand that raised over $4,000 to fund hygiene education and health projects across India, including distributing period products to girls, hosting educational talks, and building toilets for villages.

Today, as the Founder & CEO of PCOS Alliance and the reigning Miss San Francisco 2025, Inika leads a global movement advancing women’s health equity, integrative education, and holistic healing — empowering girls to reclaim their health, voice, and leadership.

Her Mission

I believe every woman deserves access to holistic health education and the tools to reclaim agency over her wellbeing. Through PCOS Alliance and my platform as Miss San Francisco, I’m bridging the gap between conventional and integrative medicine while empowering the next generation of female leaders.

How It Began

At fifteen, while navigating the physical and emotional weight of PCOS, I founded Skintegrity—a sustainable skincare brand that became my first step into advocacy. Through Skintegrity, I raised over $4,000 to fund hygiene education projects across India, including distributing period products to girls, hosting educational talks, and building toilets for villages. It was the first time I realized that my struggles could become a platform for change.

Building the Foundation

During my time at UC Irvine, I co-founded Aurum alongside Raya Hilmi and Alexia Rudh—the first integrative wellness organization within the UC system. As Vice President of Wellness, I established the UC system's first holistic wellness internship site at the Sanctuary Wellness Center, where I moderated free health clinics and developed educational materials still used by 100+ patients and practitioners today. These experiences taught me that sustainable change requires bridging the gap between conventional and integrative medicine.

My work expanded through my role as Health Communications Specialist with PCOS Challenge, where I contributed to 20+ evidence-based healthcare articles. In 2024, I founded PCOS Alliance to create a comprehensive platform for menstrual equity and holistic health education. My journey to Miss San Francisco 2025—becoming the first South Asian to hold this title in the Miss America Organization's 99-year history—gave me an even broader platform to amplify these conversations.
